Dr. George J. Fahoury received his Doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine from the New York School of Podiatric Medicine in New York, N.Y. and completed his residency at Baptist Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Fahoury achieved his Board Certification in Foot & Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 1987 as well as his Fellowship within the same year from The American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Fahoury has over 29 years experience providing medical as well as surgical podiatric care. He is a highly trained surgeon specializing in reconstruction of foot and ankle deformities such as flat feet, bunions, hammertoes, sports injuries, foot & ankle trauma, arthroscopic joint surgery and fractures. Dr. Fahoury takes a patient-centered approach to patient care. “ I’m extremely proud of the surgical results I get and the patients I’ve helped.” Dr. Fahoury goes on to say “Being able to improve a patient’s quality of life and have them refer their family and friends to me is very rewarding.” Dr. Fahoury has been named on New Jersey’s Top Docs several times, and was voted “Best of the Best” by The Asbury Park Press Readers Poll and has published several journal articles for Foot & Ankle Surgery. He has served as Chief of Podiatric Surgery and Director of the Wound Care center at Monmouth Medical Center.
