Dr. Mark is a fellowship trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Dr. Mark received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Mark also possesses a Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction (Total Joints and Joint Revisions) at a very well known program at Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Medical School. His Program Director, Dr. Harris, is world-renowned for his expertise and advances in procedures for joint replacement.
Dr. Mark specializes in complex revision surgery and infections of the hip and knee. He is also certified in robotic joint replacement and use of both Smith+Nephew and Stryker Mako systems. In addition to his expertise as a joint specialist, Dr. Mark practices general orthopedics and Orthopaedic Trauma Care. Dr. Mark has been proudly taking care of the Jersey Shore Community for 20 years.
