Bio
Dr. Haynes is Board Certified in General and Pediatric Orthopaedic surgery. He attended medical school at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, and graduated in 2003. He then did an internship and earned his fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.
His areas of expertise include Pediatric Sports Medicine, treatment of scoliosis and spine deformity; treatment of neuromuscular and congenital disorders and syndromic musculoskeletal abnormalities; treatment of limb deformity and limb length discrepancies; treatment of hip disorders such as slipped capital femoral epiphysis, dysplasia, and Perthes disease; trauma; and general Pediatric Orthopaedics disorders.
Dr. Haynes’ philosophy is to treat every child like his own and to be very patient with very concerned parents. In terms of orthopedic injuries, children are not considered as “little adults” to Dr. Haynes –his treatment are as unique as they are. Dr. Haynes sees young patients with sports injuries, cerebral palsy, and other more complicated conditions. He truly finds joy in working with the younger population and marvels at their resilience and eagerness to get better. Dr. Haynes was recognized by New Jersey Family Magazine as one of New Jersey’s Favorite Kids Doctors in 2023.
