Eric Beights, D.P.M, F.A.C.F.A.S.

Bio

Dr. Eric Beights joined Seaview Orthopaedics in 2016. He is a board-certified foot and ankle surgical specialist, with broad experience in treatment of trauma, deformity correction, and overuse injuries.

He came to New Jersey from South Florida to attend Princeton University, where he completed his Bachelor’s studies in Biology, and spent 12 seasons on the Cross Country and Track teams. He went on to Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine, and while there, was involved in researching movement disorders and skin diseases of the lower extremity. He helped pioneer the Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Residency program at Jersey Shore Medical Center as one of two Resident Physicians in its first class. During his post-graduate training, he was involved in research of biologics and stem cells, plastic surgery, techniques, wound care, and participated in over 1200 surgical procedures ranging from multilevel trauma to management of nail disorders. He has continued his involvement with the residency program and is a frequent lecturer and surgical skills instructor.

As a physician at Seaview Orthopaedics, Dr. Beights is committed to lifelong learning and meticulous dedication to his work. To that end, he enjoys New Jersey’s vibrant social experiences and exploring the great outdoors with his friends and family.
