Seaview Orthopaedics is thrilled to welcome Paul Allegra, M.D.., to the Seaview Sports Medicine Team!

Dr. Allegra is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and minimally invasive surgery. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. During his training, he assisted in the care of athletes from the New York Jets, Miami Marlins, and University of Miami Hurricanes. Before returning home to Monmouth County, he practiced with INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Allegra specializes in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle, as well as shoulder replacement surgery. He is dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care using both surgical and non-surgical treatments to help patients return to the activities they enjoy most. He is fluent in Spanish.
