Nicole Farkouh, PA-C

Nicole’s first glimpse into the world of physician assistants began in 2011 when a family member was treated at Seaview Orthopaedics. Nicole, 15 years old at the time, was offered an opportunity to “shadow” for the summer in order to get a better understanding of the work performed by physician assistants. After her summertime shadowing experience, Nicole knew she had found a career path worth pursuing.

Nicole attended Wagner College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Her master’s thesis, “Bias in Prescribing Opioid Pain Medication in an Emergency Department” earned second place honors among her graduating class. Nicole also served as Vice President of the Wagner University chapter of Colleges Against Cancer, and placed second in WC’s Ethics Discussions on Postpartum Depression.

She joined Seaview Orthopedics in January 2020, and now applies her expertise as a first-assist in all areas of orthopedic surgery including:

  • Total Joint Replacement
  • Sports Medicine
  • Arthroscopy
  • Foot and Ankle
  • Hand
  • Pediatrics
  • Spine and Emergency Fracture Care

Nicole enjoys many hobbies including drawing, painting, costume design, and botany. In addition, she is an avid animal rescuer who has found new homes for dozens of animals in need.
