Telemedicine FAQs

At Seaview, our process has been simplified to help patients get access quickly and easily.

To request a telemedicine appointment, call us to schedule at 732-660-6200 or you may request an appointment online.

After you make an appointment, you will be sent a link 90 minutes before your appointment. Click the link in your email from your cell phone or your desktop computer or laptop to begin your telemedicine appointment.

Be sure to enable your camera and audio components on whatever device you are using.

It is that simple!

If for some reason the link does not work for you, you can always use our Patient Portal for your Healow televisit or you can download the Healow App to your smartphone (available for both Android and iPhone) or tablet.

At Seaview Orthopaedics, we are using the Healow application (www.healow.com) for telemedicine services.

  • Make sure you have a secure, private location for your visit, and the ability to be hands-free (e.g., not holding a desktop computer or laptop camera, not holding your tablet or smartphone) during the appointment.
  • Make sure your location is within 20 feet of your home router to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • When your appointment begins, you will be asked to show government-issued identification.
